Meet the Doctor
owner & optometrist
Betsy W. Fraser, OD
Dr. Betsy W. Fraser grew up in South Carolina and has spent most of her life in the beautiful Low Country. From a young age, Dr. Fraser knew that she wanted to become an optometrist, shadowing a local doctor in high school and pursuing a degree in Health Science at Clemson University.
After graduating from Clemson University, Dr. Fraser went on to attend the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago from 2004-2008. During her time in Chicago, she met her husband Doug, with whom she shares two precious little girls.
Since 2008, Dr. Fraser has worked in a variety of optometric settings gaining not only clinical knowledge, but also expertise in multiple practice areas. Dr. Fraser is passionate about educating her patients. She is thorough, and detail oriented and is excited to weave those attributes into her own practice. In her spare time, Dr. Fraser loves to cook, enjoys running, reading a good book, and spending quality time with her family.
